Studio310 Architecture, Inc. d/b/a GrowingSlower (“GS”) is committed to protecting your privacy online. This Privacy Policy describes the personal information we collect through our websites at growingslower.com, affordingmotherhood.com, members.affordingmotherhood.com, or naturalbirthstories.com (the “Site”), and how we collect and use that information.
The terms “we”, “us” and “our” and “GrowingSlower” refer to Studio310 Architecture, Inc. The term “user,” “you” and “your” refers to site visitors, customers and any other users of the site.

The term “personal information” is defined as information that you voluntarily provide to us which personally identifies you and/or your contact information, such as your name, phone number and email address.

GrowingSlower provides a website where users can read articles on budgeting, working from home, and motherhood and a service where users may purchase digital products and coaching related to budgeting and working from home (the “Service”).

Use of the Site, including all materials presented herein and all online services provided by GS, is subject to the following Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy applies to all site visitors, customers, and all other users of the site. By using the Site or Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy, without modification, and acknowledge reading it.

Information We Collect

Product Orders. We collect a variety of personal information with each product order whether free or paid. This includes: Your name, address, email address, phone number, your access times and dates, IP address, and location.

This information is shared with our e-commerce software providers to ensure the delivery of your order, prevent fraud, and to give you access to the products you purchase.

We use your email to communicate with you about your order and to manage our customer relationship with you. When you place an order you may be added to our mailing list from which you can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting us at [email protected]

Any additional information you voluntarily provide when you choose to participate in various activities related to the Service, such as on the user message board, user profile, question and answer sessions, via email, or in one-on-one coaching sessions will also be stored. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information they provide in their user profile at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information. Personal information collected with product orders will be stored indefinitely.

You may choose to login into the Site using your Facebook Login for your convenience. Your public profile and email will be linked to your user account. In addition, Facebook uses cookies to complete this process. We do not store or have access to any of your other Facebook data. We are not affiliated with Facebook. We never post on your behalf.

If you upload images to the Site, be aware that uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included allows Visitors to the website to download and extract any location data from images uploaded to the Site.

Your payment information. We collect payment information for each order but we do not store payment information on GS servers. Your payment information is securely communicated to and processed via our e-commerce software providers, such as Stripe. All personal information collected for an order is used for the fulfillment of that order and to manage our customer relationship with you.

Blog Interaction. We only collect the personal information you voluntarily provide to us which may include:

Your name and email address in order to subscribe to our mailing list. We may partner with third-party vendors, such as ConvertKit, to record information you voluntarily share including name and email address and information relating to your use of the Site, such as the pages you view, emails you open, your IP address, location, and timestamp information. This information is stored indefinitely to provide you with the most helpful content possible to occasionally for targeted email marketing campaigns. ;

Your name, email address, web address when you post a comment on our blog. In addition, our servers may automatically collect information when you access or interact with the Site, such as your IP address and your browser user agent string to help spam detection. If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. Your full name, email address and message in order to contact us via our contact form. Your information is stored indefinitely for correspondence, customer service, or marketing purposes. ;

Your name, email address, and other information you may provide when entering giveaways and/or responding to surveys. Your name, email address, and other information you choose to provide when you apply and participate in our affiliate program. This information is stored indefinitely for the purposes of business correspondence.

Activity. We may partner with third-party vendors, such as Google Analytics, to record information relating to your use of the Site, such as the searches you undertake, the pages you view, your browser type, IP address, requested URL, referring URL, and timestamp information. We use this type of information to administer the Site and provide the highest possible level of service to you. We also use this information in the aggregate to perform statistical analyses of user behavior and characteristics in order to measure interest in and use of the various areas of the Site. For Google Analytics tracking, your IP address is anonymized shortly after it is collected, before any storage or processing takes place. Other activity information is retained for 26 months.

Cookies. We may send cookies to your computer in order to uniquely identify your browser and improve the quality of our service. The term “cookies” refers to small pieces of information that a website sends to your computer’s hard drive while you are viewing the Site. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them). If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

How Your Information is Used

The information you provide is used to process transactions, send periodic emails, implement marketing campaigns, and improve the service we provide. We do share your information with trusted third parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business and servicing clients and visitors. These trusted third parties agree to keep this information confidential. Your personal information will never be sold, rented, or shared with unrelated third parties.

This Site is affiliated with AdThrive, LLC (“AdThrive”) for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site. AdThrive uses standard and widely-available tools for the placement and serving of ads, including those provided by Google, Inc. and its affiliates. We publish interest-based advertisements on the Site; that is, ads that are tailored to reflect your interests. If you opt-in to our mailing list, the option to unsubscribe will be included in every email. If you create an account on the Site, you may access and update some of your personal information by logging into your account. First requests are free. For personal data report requests in excess of once per year, a reasonable fee of $10 per request will be charged.
